What are my rights as a data subject?
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights against the data controller: If your personal data are processed, you have the right to access the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR). If incorrect personal data are processed, you have a right to have them rectified (Art. 16 GDPR). Subject to the conditions required by law, you may have the data erased or have processing restricted, and you may object to processing (Art. 17, 18 and 21 GDPR). If you have consented to data processing, or if there is a contract for data processing, and the data are processed using automated methods, you may have a right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).
If you exercise one of the above rights, the Nuremberg Municipal Museums will check that the associated legal requirements are met.
You also have a right to file a complaint with the Bavarian State Data Protection Officer.
