The City of Nuremberg's extensive cultural historical collections comprise:

  • Goldsmiths' works
  • Furniture (tables, chairs, cupboards, mirrors, grandfather clocks etc.)
  • Coins and medals (including a complete collection of a sample of each piece ever coined in Nuremberg)
  • Ancient crafts (stock of objects of Nuremberg crafts until 1860)
  • Textiles
  • Glass
  • Some special collections (e.g. iron, locks, turned ivory objects)
