A generous donation by the Theo und Friedl Schöller-Stiftung has allowed us to fully overhaul the permanent exhibition of the City Museum. It will open again from February 23, 2024.
In future, visitors will find not only a new guide system, but also – on the 3rd and 4th floors – a completely refurbished introduction to the transformations of the city since the Age of Dürer.
New attractions include a camera flight across the large city model, and an augmented reality feature which will enable you to use modern media to travel to ages past while looking out of the window.
Using your smartphone, you can take a trip through Nuremberg's history as you choose your personal guided tour through the rooms of the new permanent exhibition.
