From now on you can find a new creative station in Dürer's workshop on the second floor of his house where you can embrace your creative side.

The octagonal creative station is situated around a historical pillar of the artist's house. Four work surfaces with stools placed in front of them invite you to take a seat and try out the creative prompts. Young children are encouraged to trace copies of Dürer's animal motives at a light table. School kids, teenagers and even adults can design their own monogram or experiment with drawing their self-portrait with the help of a convex mirror. If you want to understand Dürer's extensive studies of nature, you can try copying a thistle, which is featured in many of the artist's works. Of course, you are allowed to take the finished artworks home as a souvenir. If you like, you can post a photo of them on Instagram and tag @albrecht.duerer.haus_nuernberg to get reposted.

The creative station is accessible at any time and without registration during the regular opening hours of the museum at Albrecht-Dürer-Straße 39. The materials are provided and free of charge. The use of the creative station is included in the regular museum entrance fee.
