In the new "Graphics Cabinet" on the third upper floor the Nuremberg Municipal Museums can showcase items from their impressive Graphics Collection in the exact place where Dürer revolutionized the art of printmaking 500 years ago. Removing a recent-era partition wall not only yielded a generously sized space for changing exhibitions, but made the historic architecture much more visible, while at the same time providing a modern but discreet exhibition facility with high-quality technical equipment.
