Information for guests with disabilities

As a historical monument, the Albrecht Dürer House is not barrier-free for people with walking disabilities and unfortunately only has very limited access. There are folding chairs that can be used as seating or walking aids. People in wheelchairs can only visit the ground floor ─ there is no lift.

Unfortunately, the Albrecht Dürer House does not currently offer reduced admission prices for people with disabilities.

The Dürer Hall is equipped with an inductive hearing system. This blocks out disturbing noises and only what is spoken into the microphone reaches the hearing system. The prerequisite is that the T-coil in the hearing aid is activated.
