A guided tour through the representative citizen's house
During this cultural and historical tour through Albrecht Dürers living and working place at the foot of the Imperial Castle, you will get to know the artist and entrepreneur Albrecht Dürer. Here the painter was both a private and businessman. Up until this day, the work and life of Dürer can be traced in this place. In this tour you will learn more about Dürer's everyday life and his work, his contemporaries and friends, the techniques of printmaking and the colour production as well as Dürer's reception up until to the present time.
