In the summer of 1505, Albrecht Dürer set off for Venice, where he stayed for around two years. Almost 520 years later, and coinciding with the Venice Biennale, this exhibition commemorates that journey once again. Three of the ten letters Dürer wrote to his friend Willibald Pirckheimer are on display here, on loan from the Nuremberg City Library. They are complemented by original prints by Dürer and Marcantonio Raimondi.
