Costume tour for families in German language
"Hello and welcome to the Dürer House. It's so nice that you have come to visit me!"
With these words, the landlady of the Dürer House welcomes the young visitors. Because there is a very special guided tour for families with children. You can listen to the stories of Agnes Dürer in six different rooms of the museum. For example, she shares about the difficulties to kindle a fire in the kitchen or how Susanna, the young maid, prepared a yummy "Blamensir" with almond milk, lard and rice flour. Or she talks about how the evenings are spent with playing cards meanwhile Albrecht Dürer can only think about drawing and painting; how merchants come over to get painted by Dürer; or how the famous Rhinoceros was created.
