Costume tour with Agnes Dürer, especially for elderly people

Every third Tuesday of the month at 3 p.m., elderly people in particular can enjoy a sociable and relaxed tour of the Dürer House. A costumed actress guides visitors through her house as the wife of Nuremberg's greatest artist.

Dressed in a traditional bonnet and with a large bunch of keys on her skirt, Agnes Dürer gives an insight into her former home and her husband's workplace. Guests learn all sorts of unknown facts about life and work in the famous artist's house, Agnes' activities in the family business and her (not always easy) relationship with Albrecht Dürer and his best friend Willibald Pirckheimer.
