The printer's workshop

Opposite the workshop, next to a second, more sparsely furnished kitchen there is a small cabinet, where prints are being made!

Several times a day, the large relief-printing press is shown in action. It was especially constructed for the printing of woodcuts. In 1971, "Dürer Year", it was reconstructed on the basis of a Dürer drawing.

Visitors may lend a hand in the printing process and may even take home one of the fresh prints with Dürer motifs back.
