An attempt to make amends for Nazi injustice

16th of July till 30th of September 2025

The exhibition shows the efforts of Jewish survivors of the Holocaust to regain reparations and the ambitions of Germany to acknowledge its responsibility for the crimes under the Nazi-regime. The Luxembourg Agreement in 1952 marks an important historical cut in this endeavour. What were the developments in the recent decades? What changes and improvements did occur and what is planned for its future? One focal point of this exhibition is the perspective of Holocaust survivors.
